The peculiarities are determined by the properties of rubber as a structural material, as well as the technology of moulding of large rubber technical products, namely rubber hoses. Taking into account that the hose manufacturing technology іs closely related to the design of the manufacturing equipment, we consider a completely new approach to manufacturing of high-quality single-diameter rubber hoses of different sizes and lengths in one mould with a possibility for mould adjustment. The new approach suggests that replaceable sections are symmetrically mounted in pairs onto the inside of the upper and lower plates along the axis, whereas replaceable diametral liners are mounted onto the solid part of the core assembly enabling moulding of single diameter corrugated rubber hoses of different sizes. The centres of the projections and cavities of the diametral liners should lie in a single plane with the respective centres of the projections and cavities of the replaceable sections in the lower and upper plates of the mould. The dimensions of the replaceable sections and the diametral liners depend on the dimensions of hoses and the number of corrugations in them. It will help cut costs for production and repair of the manufacturing equipment with less equipment required and improve serviceability and quality of the equipment with enhanced manufacturability and repairability of mould components. Utility model patent No. 143346 dated 27 July 2020 was obtained for the technology of manufacturing of corrugated rubber hoses for interfaces of thermal conditioning systems. The article shows the possibility of boosting the productivity when manufacturing corrugated rubber hoses for interfaces of thermal conditioning systems through production of the second interchangeable core assembly and its preparation for installation and operation in course of hose manufacturing.
